Course description

Aims and objectives of the course:

Overall aim is to train youth workers and youth leaders for developing and being aware of using and spreading information about their international youth exchange projects. To clarify the roles of youth workers and youth leaders within international youth exchanges as facilitators and to make youth workers and youth leaders be capable for developing and using the methods of non formal education. To develop their knowledge and skills for motivating young people being as active as they can during all phases of the exchanges.

Our aim will be reached throughout the following training objectives:

• To develop an understanding about aspects of active youth participation.
• To develop information giving skills and represent the projects in the local communities and international level starting from the partner finding to follow up of the projects.
• To be aware and understand the roles of youth workers, youth leaders and young people within the projects.
• To develop an understanding about aspects of information, facilitation and motivation
• To get familiar personally with the organisations behind the Eurodesk codes, contacts building
• To offer the opportunity to meet Eurodesk partners and develop concrete ideas for future projects within Youth programme.
